20 year anniversary: Tony Coles
Celebrating our team milestones
We’re delighted to celebrate Tony Coles, who recently marked an incredible 20 years with Champion Groundworks!
Tony joined us while our Liskeard head office was still being built, back when our Managing Director, Jamie Roberts, was a fresh-faced QS in the Commercial team. A lot has changed since then, but Tony’s dedication to the job has remained a constant.
Reliable, trustworthy and always ready to share his knowledge, Tony brings the kind of experience that only comes from years of getting stuck in. For the younger members of our team, he’s a reassuring presence, with a wealth of practical advice and a memory that still keeps everyone on their toes!
He’s also a character you simply couldn’t replicate. Those who’ve worked alongside Tony will know that what he brings to site goes well beyond the job itself.
We’re proud to have so many long-standing people at Champion. Their skill, loyalty and sheer grit have helped shape the business we are today, and Tony is a brilliant example.
Thank you, Tony, for two decades of hard work, dedication and being someone we can always count on. You’ve been a huge part of the Champion story, and we’re grateful for everything you continue to bring to the team.
