Congratulations to Lucas McKay who recently celebrated his 5-year anniversary with Champion Groundworks!
Lucas initially joined us with no previous groundworks experience having previously worked in a school supporting children with special needs, and as a swimming instructor. Looking for a new career direction as his own family grew, he began his journey as a labourer with our team working in Liskeard.
Since then, Lucas has shown incredible dedication and a genuine determination to learn, develop his skills and progress. We’re delighted to share that he has recently taken the next step in his career, becoming a Site Manager on our project with Vistry in Launceston—a fantastic and thoroughly deserved achievement.
