We’re delighted to have welcomed another brand-new CCTV drainage unit to the Champion Groundworks fleet, further strengthening our in-house drainage inspection capabilities.
Champion first introduced CCTV drainage units into the business 10 years ago. At the time, this was a pioneering investment for a groundworks contractor in the region, giving our teams greater control over quality and allowing potential issues to be identified quickly and accurately.
Since then, CCTV drainage technology has become an increasingly important part of groundworks delivery across the South West. We’re proud to have led the way and to see more contractors following in our footsteps, helping to raise standards throughout the industry.
Our specialist units allow us to inspect drainage systems from within, capturing detailed footage that enables our teams to identify defects, blockages and other potential issues. They play a vital role across our projects, supporting quality checks, adoption surveys and investigation works.
By delivering these services in-house, we can respond quickly, maintain greater control over the inspection process and provide our clients with accurate information when they need it. This helps reduce the risk of problems further down the line, avoids unnecessary disruption and supports the delivery of high-quality drainage infrastructure across our developments.
Our latest unit has already been busy on the road with Jake and Glen since arriving a few weeks ago, supporting projects across the region.
This latest addition represents another important investment in our people, equipment and capabilities as we continue to provide an efficient, reliable and high-quality service for our clients.
