We’re delighted to be continuing our work at Sherford - one of the most ambitious residential developments in the UK, as we start work on a brand-new phase for Vistry.
The Champion Groundworks team has been proudly working at Sherford since day one. Back in 2015, we were the first groundworkers on site alongside our friends at Steve Hoskins and Groundfix. Over the last 11 years, we’ve collectively built the foundations for what Sherford is today — an already bustling and vibrant community.
A lot may have changed at Sherford over the years, but one thing has remained the same: our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional quality and setting the standard for what should be expected of a groundworks business in terms of safety, expertise and processes.
Building trusted, long-term partnerships is at the core of how we operate. Through every challenge and every milestone, we’ve worked closely with Vistry, and we’re proud to be continuing that relationship on this new phase.
Once complete, we’ll have delivered over 800 plots for Vistry and Linden Homes at Sherford - an incredible milestone for team Champion! 💪
Our scope of work includes:

➡️ Over 9,000m² of tarmac
➡️ Over 4,000m² of block paving
➡️ 7,500m of kerbing
➡️ Over 4,000m of retaining and screen walls
