Project Update: Eventide, Hayle

Congratulations to our esteemed client, Gilbert & Goode, who celebrated the opening of their much-anticipated marketing suite & show homes at their Eventide development last weekend.

We've been proudly supporting the Gilbert and Goode team with the groundworks needed at Eventide since earlier this year, and we're delighted to see this key milestone having been met, allowing their sales team to focus on showcasing the exemplary quality and comfort on offer to potential future residents.

Eventide features a collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes, tucked away in the charming harbour town of Hayle, Cornwall. This exclusive development promises a collection of 85 beautifully crafted homes, each featuring a mix of contemporary finishes to seamlessly blend in with their Cornish setting.

Our overall scope of work on this project consists of:

➡️ 85 Plots (foundations & externals)

➡️ 2400m2 of adopted road

➡️ 795m2 of adopted footpath

➡️ 475m of storm drainage

➡️ 610m of foul drainage

Our team have made good progress so far, with the following having been completed:

➡️ Over 50% of the adoptable foul & storm drainage lines installed, including a 828m3 soakaway tank - that's roughly 900lm of drainage so far!

➡️ 2350m2 roads installed to binder course, with the first 340m2 of surface course installed to facilitate the show home opening

➡️ 33 plot foundations excavated & concreted

➡️ 26 plots completed to block and beam stage, including plot drainage and scaffold margin

➡️ 11 plots completed
