Riley Roper: Apprenticeship Completed
Please join us in congratulating Riley Roper on recently completing his Level 2 Groundworks Apprenticeship with us.
Riley joined us as an apprentice back in 2023, at the age of 16, straight out of school and keen to secure an apprenticeship. We were especially happy receive his application since his father, Donald, is a much-loved and long-standing member of the Champion Groundworks team - so we really couldn't be happier that Riley chose to start his journey with us, and we're extremely proud of him for reaching this milestone.
All our apprentices get to experience the full breadth of specialisms involved in Groundworks, and during his time learning as an apprentice, Riley gravitated towards drainage as an area that he particularly enjoys. Riley, as a now permanent member of our team, is working in a gang that primarily focuses on plot foundations, drainage and oversites - who have together, been achieving great NHBC scores - recognition of the skill and attention to detail each of them brings to their work, every day.
