Please join us in congratulating Kevin on his recent successful apprenticeship completion.
Congratulations to Kevin Skolimowski on recently completing his Level 2 Groundworks Apprenticeship as part of the Champion Groundworks team.
Kevin joined us straight after finishing school last year. While he wasn't entirely sure which career path he wanted to pursue, he was keen to give groundworks a try. After completing an initial paid work placement – a requirement for all our would-be apprentices – Kevin decided that groundworks was the right fit for him and went on to begin his apprenticeship with us in partnership with Camborne College, attending college each Wednesday while gaining valuable hands-on experience on site throughout the rest of the week.
Completing an apprenticeship requires commitment, hard work and determination, and Kevin has demonstrated all three throughout his time with us. By combining practical site experience with classroom-based learning, he has developed the skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career in the groundworks industry – and he has achieved it at an impressive pace.
A huge thank you must also go to the experienced site teams who have supported Kevin throughout his apprenticeship journey. When discussing his experience with Champion, the thing that stood out most was how much he enjoys coming to work alongside such a great group of people. And of course. we couldn't agree more.
